InspirationARMOUR

The word “armour” was introduced into use in the Middle Ages as a borrowing from the French. It is dated from 1297, as a “mail, defensive covering worn in combat” from Old French armoire, itself derived from the Latin armatura “arms and/or equipment” with the root arma “arms or gear”.

sorkatani:

So I picked up the first issue of the new Deadpool: The Gauntlet Infinite Comic by Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn and Reilly Brown.I’m not a fan of digital only comics - I want to buy my comics in TPB and individual paper issues. I know digital is the way of the future blah blah blah but I want something solid that I can catalogue, shelve and flip through as I desire. It’s just not the same. But I can complain about that another time.
I have to say, these Infinite Comics are something special compared to a standard digital comic though. I really like the interactive frames, the layered pictures, and the fact that I can see the whole picture and clearly read the text on my mobile.Plus, I like that it allowed for title credits. Which brings me to the point of this post - I wanted to share Deadpool’s theme song.

"He…is the man who goes too far.
Refuses to drive without wrecking a car.
Spends the whole time riding the clutch.
Until the day he blew too much…up.
He…only swims where he might drown.
Only flies planes that might go down.
I’m shocked he can walk without a crutch.
He is the man who blew too much…up.
Only dates girls who will go dutch.
We call him a no good such-and-such.
No one knows why he isn’t dead.
Bad ideas are not the only thing…
…to pass clear through his head.
He…never seems to give a crap.
He’s lost so much he can’t find a map.
He feels nothing, so he’s out of touch.
That’s why he’s the man who blew too much…
…
Up!”

The Man Who Blew Too Much… Up
You guys have got to check out this musical rendition of the DEADPOOL: THE GAUNTLET theme song put together by my editor Jordan D. White (aka @cracksh0t ).  It’s brilliant, and really adds something to the already over-the-top credits scene.   Feel free to sing along!
